Summary

To assist in the EICT design activities by preparing and reviewing design deliverables under the supervision of the project EICT Lead Designer. The role is focused on ensuring that EICT design deliverables are completed in line with contractual requirements, ensuring quality, and meeting project timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare a complete set of Engineering drawings which include multiple views, details, and assembly in AutoCAD
  • Ensure deliverables were issued on time and checked the accuracy of design deliverables including subcontractor deliverables before issuing to site
  • Issue RFQ/PR in SAP for Bulk MTO and manage MTO
  • To participate/assist in 3D model review and provide the EICT feedback to engineering Contractor
  • Implement and review the design in AVEVA Electrical & Instrumentation and ensure the database is updated correctly and applicable drawings are extracted from AVEVA
  • Review all the design-related information and Tie-in points related to the EICT Interface.
  • To support lead in resolving EICT design queries from various yards within schedule and in a timely manner.
  • To attend the meetings with Engineering Contractors to do detailed modelling, designs and drawings based on the basic designs/drawings
  • Under general supervision, using prevailing engineering design procedures, standards and codes and relying on experience and judgement to prepare complex engineering and technical drawings and in some circumstances, generate original designs to depict the layout and equipment arrangement so as to support the Engineers in conducting their engineering planning, design, and construction work.

Requirements

  • A degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, or Telecommunication Engineering (or a related field).
  • Proven experience in design support roles within EICT, preferably in offshore or oil and gas projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for engineering drawing preparation.
  • Experience in AVEVA Electrical & Instrumentation or similar design software.
